OF A GOOD FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR JORDAN HATCH
We were all very saddened at the untimely
death of Jordan who was only 47 years old.
The road to his summer range is so steep
getting to their range that they can’t take
a trailer up and have to haul their horses
in a pickup. On the way down the pickup
slid off the road and the truck went off an
embankment and killed him and his horse.
Jordan was a great friend and neighbor who
would do anything for anybody. When he was in college he and
several college friends clipped our sale bulls for several years.
His winter range joins ours and his family’s summer range joins
us also.
Jordan was a teacher and taught heavy equipment operation
at College of Eastern Utah in Price. Then he and his Dad run
these cattle also. His Dad, Ira Wallace Hatch, married Tawnya &
Rodney in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. Jordan was a director of
the Utah Farm Bureau. He and his wife JoNell have 2 daughters
and a son, who is on a LDS Mission in England. Jordans funeral
was one of the largest I have ever attended, and filled the Stake
Center with over 1500 people. Jordan was escorted to the
cemetery in a wagon, pulled by a team of beautiful Belgiums
followed by an honor guard of pallbearers, family and closest
friends all on horses. JORDAN, EVERYONE MISSES YOU SO
MUCH, ESPECIALLY YOUR COUSIN Paul. Jordan and Paul
spent every weekend together out on the winter range when their
cattle were out there. Paul and Jordan were closer than brothers.
We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to know such a
fine man and cattleman. We miss you Jordan.
GOD BLESS YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY.
