B3 was an awesome old cow for us, and gentle as the day is long. If
we had an extra calf she was gentle enough she’d take it right along
with hers. She gave plenty of milk but still had nice small teats. We kept
her until she was 16 and she brought home a big calf every fall. U431
was her last calf and this bull’s grand dam. There is power in these cow
families that run many generations deep, utilize it.
