We have loved our Duff New Edition Females. They are moderate made,
easy keeping, good looking cows that are broody and have good legs
and structure. They have nice udders and wean off good calves. Z397
will make these kind of females that will be an asset to your herd for
years to come. With ever increasing feed prices these are the type that
will be profitable in the long run.

This stylish and soggy, smooth shouldered bull has a 76# birth weight
and generations of light birth weights scattered throughout his pedigree.
His first-calf dam had a 65# birth weight and his grand dam had a 70#
birth weight with a 70# birth weight on three head. We have gotten along
great with Messenger, an SAV Final Answer son, on heifers.

This light birth weight bull is deep-bellied & soft made. On his pedigree
you will find his 58# BW dam, a maternal sister to Y1 Mahogany, our herd
sire that we used many years and raised some of our outstanding bulls.
His 70# BW grand dam was a ground tank that was as good and pretty
of cow as we owned, functional and sound with a nice udder. Her calves
averaged 77# BWs on ten head. GCC Black Watch sold for $25,000.

When we select herd sires from our own calf battery we’re pretty critical of them
on every angle possible. We take great merit in the cow family from which they
evolve, their dam and grand dam’s udder quality, fleshing ability, performance
and overall aye appeal, coupled with the bull’s individual merits. When the dust
settled for selecting a herd sire in 2011 Messenger stood at the top of the list. With
a 68# BW, 725# WW, and 1371# YW Messenger is a very smooth shouldered,
big bodied, PROVEN heifer bull. His calves have averaged 77#. Here is your
chance to buy a proven calving ease herd sire. Pictured as a yearling.
