General Information
My partner and brother passed away on August 12, 2012. He had
been my partner in the cattle and farming business since 1970 until
his retirement in 2009.
He was the oldest of eight brothers and sisters and I was the second
to the youngest, so at times he had to be my second father in my
younger years. Through the years, he mostly took care of the
farming, while I mostly ran the cattle business. We consulted each
other over the years in both businesses.
Allen was an excellent mechanic and inventor. Due to a bout
with polio in his younger years, that left him with a limp, he was
always looking for ways to make life easier. We find evidence of
this around here all of the time. If Allen built it, it was done right
and was made stronger than anything you could buy.
Allen was a good Christian, a great husband and father and
grandfather, an excellent partner and brother. His influence
will be felt around here for a long time.
