“Vinny” has captured the attention of
many astute Angus breeders. We knew
he was something special when Scott selected him from the 2010 Vin-Mar Angus Sale.
There he had attained a superb performance record, but his “look” was even better!
Posting a 70 lb. birth weight, with a ratio of 83, weaning weight of 836 lbs. and a ratio
of 116, he went on to have a yearling weight of 1,476 lbs. and a ratio of 127. He also

“UNBELIEVABLE” could be one of
the stouter, fancier bulls we have ever bred. He sold in our 2011 sale to Reiman
Ranches of Ree Heights, SD for $28,000. After his first bunch of calves, we find it
interesting that what was written about this bull then, applies exactly to his progeny
now. In the 2011 sale book we wrote,”There have been very few
bulls ever made that could match his class. He is sharp, fancy,
and perfectly balanced in his make up. With an abundance
of muscle shape, he comes across with the right blend of
phenotype and performance.” Ditto for his calves! He was
really used only in one flush on the fabulous 7603 cow. We
did have two heifers from AI including Tyler’s heifer that was
Reserve Champion at the SD State Fair last fall as a calf. This
fancy heifer also tied for the top weaning weight. Her dam is
by Bushs Coach 510. The numbers from the five ET produced
bulls were a solid 808 lbs. at weaning. The 3 daughters were
69 lbs. at birth, ratio 92, and at weaning were 640 lbs. with a
ratio of 109.
“UNBELIEVABLE” has created a most balanced set of numbers.
His BEPD is at 0, the growth traits are exceptional at +58
and +98, and his milk number is high at +30. What is real
impressive is his $W value is over the 1% level in the breed,
as well as his RADG. His disposition and his progeny are
excellent, which makes his docility rank of 3% in the breed very
believable.
We are most excited about this sire group. Consider that when
the selection for the bulls to be pictured was decided, three of
the five Unbelievable bulls were in the photo group. That is a
tremendous statement to their style, quality, substance, weight,
structure correctness, and special look. But do not forget the
potential they have on the maternal side! The Bushs Lit Up 706
dam (8708 cow) ranks in the top 2% for Milk and 4% for $B
value. She is consistently a low birth weight, and substantial
weaning weight type of cow. She averages 92 ratio at birth and
108 at weaning on her calves.
“UNBELIEVABLE” has earned his position here as a sire to
create the perfect size, true balance, great muscle shape, and in
the most desirable packages!

scanned a RE ratio of 115. At that point in time he was impressive
for muscle dimension, squareness of rump, length of body, super
rib volume and shape, and fault-free movement. Time was definitely
going to be his friend as he only became better for eye appeal and
body style. O’Reilly Factor was used heavily in our herd as a yearling.
He bred 58 cows and ran in the pasture for a total of 99 days. As
semen sales were brisk, he was immediately taken to Western Sires
for collection. The above photo was taken just 127 days after running
in our pasture. At the 2011 NWSS he still wasn’t two years old yet
but weighed over a ton and won his class. To say he was one of the
more popular bulls at Denver would be an understatement!
Nationwide, O’Reilly Factor calves are doing 99 at birth, 102 at
weaning, and 103 at yearling. Our two calf crops have recorded
an average birth weight of 78.2 lbs. with a ratio of 99. The growth
numbers on his progeny born here is 102 at weaning and 104 ratio
for yearling. The O’Reilly Factor calves really get out and grow!
All this and he is a proven calving-ease sire with a Birth Weight EPD
of only +.4. His Weaning EPD ranks 3% and Yearling is in the top
2%, and Maternal rank is in the top 3%. His numbers fit our program
and our customers’ needs perfectly. His unparalleled quality places
him in a class all by himself. O’REILLY FACTOR has demonstrated his
breeding power again in his second crop of calves. He continues to
be one of the most heavily used bulls in the breed.
