Timber is that gorgeous black horse you have
been looking for. He is quiet and dependable
and has been used on trail rides, gathering
pastures, pushing cows and arena games. Last
year his 12-year-old rider, Mikayla, endured
four orthopedic surgeries. We knew a special
horse would be needed to build her confidence
for riding once again. Timber has truly fit the
bill as he has been safe while not being lazy or
dull and still challenging her riding abilities. We
have work ahead of us but Timber has been a
wonderful companion for Mikayla’s recovery. He
performs in the arena and outdoors. He stands to be groomed, clipped and
for the farrier. He loads quietly and accommodates riders of varied abilities.
With his color, beautiful mane and tail and pleasing nature, Timber is the

Finn is a nice looking, gentle, take-him-
anywhere horse. I love to use him working
cattle because he can read the herd and react
to their movement before you have to ask.
When I use him to wrangle, he keeps pace with
the herd and is quick enough to get ahead of
them if the horses need turned. He has been
quiet and gentle on the trail and we’ve had
lots of guests ride him who enjoyed him. He
is a horse I can take anywhere to get the job
