Q
Chronicle is a Signature son who sires calves that are dark cherry red with added length
and style. We like him for his performance and solid carcass numbers. He also breeds
good maternal value into his progeny. He is in the top 20% for milk and total maternal.
Co-owned with 5L Red Angus.
Doc Holliday has matured into a very consistent sire of low birth weight cattle with added
style, soundness, and depth of rib. He is a tremendous footed bull that produces females
with added capacity. He is sired by MLK CRK CUB 722 which we have used successfully in
our program for a number of years.
Rob Roy has good muscle and body length. We appreciate his friendly disposition and he
has proven himself to be very functional and sound. He provided some out-cross genetics
for us and his progeny have excellent performance. Co-owned with Leland Red Angus.
Banker was purchased from the Pederson’s Broken Heart Ranch. He is an extremely long
bodied bull with very solid numbers. He ranks in the top 6% weaning and yearling, and also
has very positive carcass traits. Banker is out of a Dakota Copper female that has a 106
MPPA. He seems to be passing on that extra length of body to his offspring.
Commitment was a purchase at the Leland Red Angus 2010 sale. He has tremendous
performance and good calving ease. His 867 lb. 205 ranks him in the top 5% and should be
used to increase weaning weight. Co-owned with Leland Red Angus.
