We have used Packer for a few years now and have been impressed by a variety
of his traits. He seems to add length and pass on maternal ability. 2042 is a well
made, moderate framed bull that should work on heifers.
Here is a Packer calf that will draw some attention. He is an attractive, long-spined
bull that has 8 EPD’s in the top 20% of the breed. His dam is a 5L Destination daughter who has a 103 MPPA. She produced a Design calf that sold to Jeff Dewitz,
Steele, ND in 2011.
2045 is another son of R9 with exceptional performance. Dam, Miss Rumbler,
was our purchase at the ND State Sale from Campbell Red Angus. MGD has a
111 MPPA.
This guy is a sharp, dark red Packer calf out of a first calf heifer. The pedigree
behind this bull is solid, combining several proven bloodlines. 2037 will make a
great heifer bull.
There’s some built-in maternal power here! He ranks in the top 1% for HPG, top
3% for Milk, and top 6% for TM. The Big Sky bull is proving himself as a female
maker. Use 2038 with confidence on heifers.
