Welcome to the 2016 Werning Cattle Company Production Sale! It is always a sincere pleasure for all of us at
Eberspacher Enterprises to work with families like the Dale Werning family. There is a deep history in this ranch’s cowherd
and a bright future in the genetics they are using to make cattle better and better every year. It is truly a family effort to
make the ranch operation go and it’s inspiring to see the next generation making an impact on the foundation that has been
created. Together, the Wernings are committed to breed cattle that are going to be productive and profitable for cattlemen
in all facets of the beef industry.
Their commitment to breeding profitable cattle for their customers is evident as you study the cattle in this catalog. They
have continued to breed to bulls Lock N Load and Chamberlain, bull that have proven themselves as solid producers year in
and year out. It is exciting to see sires like United, Lock Down, Bullseye and Loaded Up add to the quality and variety on this
year’s offering as well. Herd bulls like this make an instant impact on their cowherd and will their sons and daughters will
do the same for yours. High caliber bulls and top-notch bred females are selling in this sale. They have truly “opened the
gates” and have dug deeper into the bred heifer pen and are offering a large group of awesome females, bred to the most
exciting calving ease bulls in our breed.
Once again, there are fantastic progeny from the most popular donor cow in the breed right now, Miss Werning KP
8543U. This cow is simply a “can’t miss” cow that produces stellar progeny, no matter what bull she is bred to. Her many
sons topped the bull sale last year and one son in particular, W/C Executive Order 8543B, was one of the most popular
young sires in the breed to get used this spring. You will see many of her and her progeny’s accomplishments as you study
this sale catalog. Take advantage!
We invite you to come to Werning Cattle Company’s sale facility for another great event. It will be a video sale again
this year with no live cattle going through the ring. Instead, there will be videos of each lot on the big screen TV’s in the
sale barn. The great set of cattle will be on display outside for you. After you look them over, you can go inside and warm
up while enjoying some terrific hospitality and checking out the offering on the screens. I know how much the Wernings
appreciate their loyal customer base and cattlemen that put their confidence in the Werning Cattle Company program.

Commerical Heifers
These heifers were hand selected and purchased as opens from our good friends and
customers Sam & Kim Tiede, Kenny Brown, and Justin & Megan Brown. The blazed
faced heifers are sired by sons of Dream Catcher and the blacks are sired mostly by
sons of High Regard. They have been worked right along with the registered heifers
and that work can be found on page 2. They are bred to the -3.0 BW ABS bull
Shipwheel Chinook and cleaned up with a son of Final Answer.We will sell them by
groups of color and calving date and they will sell first before the bulls at 12:00 Noon.
