Welcome to our 35th Annual Production Sale!
Greetings from the crew here at Werning Cattle Company! Our hopes are that you have had a
healthy and beneficial year for your family and business. We enjoy the many opportunities that
the cattle business has given us to get to know so many of you good folks and we look forward
to seeing you again and also making new friendships this year. We are very lucky to be able to do
business with the best cattlemen and also the best people in the world.
We are both proud and humbled by the achievements of the Werning Cattle Company genetics
that we have produced and marketed. We take pride in knowing our years of selection, culling
and paying attention to every detail has enabled our cattle to be profitable, predictable and
consistent.
This is somewhat a milestone for our family with this being our 35th consecutive annual sale.
To accomplish this feat, we have had tremendous support from our family and neighbors, plus
the best customer base in the business. Our mission is to provide progressive cattlemen with
quality seedstock that they can purchase with confidence and trust. This year’s offering is the
result of our 45 years of A.I. breeding and selection searching for profitable, problem free
cattle that have performance, correctness and maternal ability. This is the reason we are so
very confident that our cattle will be profitable assets for our customers.
We have been blessed with a tremendous set of cattle to present to you for our 35th annual
sale. They are the result of our family’s great passion for our cattle and the goal to make
them better every day. These bulls and females will make their impact on the future beef
industry. The tradition will continue.
We would like to thank the Chris Plamp and Barry Olson families for the
outstanding job they do for us as cooperator herds for our ET calves. It’s
always great working with these great folks.
Our family would like to thank our friends, family and neighbors who
assist us in so many ways during the year and at sale time.
We invite you to call or stop a the ranch prior to sale day so we have
plenty of time to discuss the cattle. Our new sale facility has been a
tremendous addition to our operation and we invite you to gather
with us for a great beef dinner before the sale in the warmth of our
new building.
