Cattlemen & Women:
Welcome to our annual production sale. We appreciate
your interest and your trust in our program. We work
hard on maintaining functional cattle and bulls that are
right for the times. Again this year, we have included a
selection of virgin two-year-old Red Angus bulls from
Ravenscroft Red Angus.
Gale Angus & Simmental have added several groups of
cows to our program from some of the best producers
in the area. We are now able to assemble a larger
selection of Angus and Sim/Angus bulls, and we are confident that our bulls are what’s needed in today’s
industry and will be profitable assets for our customers.
It’s been an interesting year in the beef business... cow numbers are at record lows and it may be awhile before
we see a real increase. With that being said, we are optimistic about the future of agriculture and our main
focus, the beef industry. 2016 brings Gale Angus & Simmental to its 16th year of selling registered Angus and
Sim/Angus bulls. With the Simmental breed more in demand than ever, as well as Sim/Angus genetics we
continue to focus on our goal: produce easy fleshing, fertile, calving ease, high performance cattle that will
thrive in a common sense environment.
We are offering a tremendous set of bulls that are the result of our
family’s passion for our cattle and to provide you elite genetics that
will maximize your profits for commercial and registered herds
alike. These bulls are practical, moderate framed, with dispositions
second to none, that will maintain fleshing ability and perform. We
are confident that our bulls will make their impact on the future
beef industry.
In May of 2015, Molly & I bought a ranch in central Montana and
moved the seed stock operation to that location. We still operate a
herd of commercial cows in the Sandhills. We are very grateful and would like to extend a huge thank you to
our ranch help in Nebraska, as well as Montana, we couldn’t do it without good help!
