We lead of the sale with a Hard Drive son that really pushes the envelope for more
traits than any bull that will we offer this year. The High Noon daughters are some
of our best proven cows and his dam is no exception. We expect this sire to be
one of the leading Hard Drive Y120 sons and with his sire not producing freezable
semen Lot 1 will be a prime candidate to replace him.
Lot 2 is out of a cow that we feel may be one of our top cows, Laura 112W. Last year her son was
lot 36 and sold to a very discriminating commercial customer Wagonhound Livestock, who was
one of the RAA Commercial Producers of the Year. This year Laura 112W brought in another and
he doesnít give anything up to last yearís maternal brother. Laura 112W goes back to the same
cowline as Laura 158W who recently sold for $30,000 to Twedt Red Angus on the Western Heritage
Sale in Denver.
Fusion has done a great job and this son comes topping the list. His dam is owned by Craig
& Lindley Howard. We are very proud of the crew at BRAR and they have the opportunity to
run some cows. Craig has a pretty good eye helping us with mating and selection throughout
the program. They purchased this cow as a heifer calf which has proven to be an outstanding
choice as she has earned a spot in the donor pen.
