This heifer comes from a neighbor we ran next to in Southern Idaho. They
have real-world, purebred Simmentals that have to summer on ground
not high enough in elevation for good grass and winter on ground not low
enough to stay out of the snow. They not only survive; they thrive. She
will be a great cow. She was brought off grass mid-November. I would say
she’s kept herself in pretty good condition.
