PLAY SMART SOONERS
This colt has become quite the specimen, physically and mentally. He is all kinds
of athletic, is a beautiful blood bay, and has a ton of personality. This horse’s dam
is out of the great mare Ketchs Sweet Note, who is also the dam to my daughter
Hannah’s great rope horse “Annie”. Annie helped Hannah win a National All Around
Championship and she has carried her to several major Junior roping Champion-
ships including the Barry Burk Roping, Joe’s Boot Shop, and most recently Joe
Beavers Junior roping in Stephenville, TX. Annie also carried our son Wade to a
Reserve National Championship in the Junior High Division of the NHSRA in the
Breakaway Roping. Ketchs Sweet Note is also the dam to “Doc” who is a 5 time
AQHA Horse of the Year with numerous qualifications in the Barrels and Poles to
the Junior High Division of the NHSRA and to the National High School Finals. Doc
is currently owned by Cydney Peterson from North Dakota and is headed back to
Nationals this July in the Barrels and Poles. Play Smart Sooners or “Junior” as we
call him shows the same traits that Doc and Annie possess. He has been a lot of
fun to train and he is going to be very versatile. I’m convinced that he could go the
barrel racing route or the roping route and have equal success. Don’t miss out on
