In an effort to incorporate some of the finest outcross red Limousin genetics into our
herd, we purchased this royally bred bull in the spring of 2011 from Richmond Ranch in
Alberta, Canada. Never have we more anxiously awaited the arrival of a group of newborn
calves as we have those from a quality bull like Richmond
Xander
. He exceeded our
expectations. A set of bulls with tremendous growth, volume and meat and a group of
heifers that a cattleman would admire, no matter what the breed.
On top of being homozygous polled,
Xander
is also homozygous for the Leptin gene, a
marbling indicator making him even more genetically superior and right for the times.
If you need a shot of performance to bring up those weaning weights at sale day, want to add
some marbling to your carcasses and still keep the muscle, and leave you some big volume
females that will milk, February 9 is your opportunity to do that.
Semen available through Limi-Gene and Treftz Limousin.
Exceeding our Expectations ...
