Premier has his first 17 offspring highlighting this sale and is bred to 39
females in this sale. There is no bull in the entire breed that can match his
amazing ePDs. His sire is one of our favorites of all time who has produced
some of our most valuable cattle. His mother was a powerfully made female
that produced the most valuable eT litter in our history with 6 full brothers
that all went into seedstock herds. They have all proven to be outstanding in
their own right. We have only sold 20 units of semen thus far on this breed
leading sire in auctions to support the red angus Juniors. The Shuey family
from ia bought it all and produced chloe who was named Grand champion
Female at the iowa State Fair with her dam this year. Kelli and i like her so
well that we bought ½ interest in her with Madison Shuey to help Kelli and
i rebuild our registered herd with the most elite genetics available. Quite
a few of the pregnant recipients that Kelli and i are rebuilding with are
carrying Premier embryos out of some of the top females selling in this sale.
His genetics will definitely be part of our program moving forward. Brent
Howard from beaver, oK was the wise breeder who bought Premier in our 2011 sale. benji & lori White of Putnam, oK (who
bought redemption last year) just bought a 25% semen interest in him. our family will remain a 25% semen interest owner
in this great young sire. We are selling a 25% revenue sharing semen interest with no possession in Premier. We plan to begin
marketing semen on Premier and our new partner who buys this semen interest will help us decide how best to do that.
