Double Bar D Farms is a total service provider of superior seedstock
genetics to commercial and registered breeders. It is a pleasure to breed,
develop, and offer genetics that will increase the profitability of your herd
and have a direct impact on your bottom line. There are several very
important bits of information for the sale that may be attractive to our
valued customers.
DNA testing to determine Dilution status [grey offspring] has been done
for buyers of Fleckvieh bulls that want to use them on black cows. This
information is available by request.
Any open female is welcome to stay at Double Bar D and be bred to either
our elite herdsire battery or AI bred to a sire of your choice. After confirma-
tion of pregnancy, it is the responsibility of the buyer to organize delivery and
we are glad to assist in this. If a heifer is determined infertile the warranty
program is still in effect. We do ask that you insure the females for any
accidents that may occur.
Sight unseen purchasing; We have continued to employ the best sales
consultants and encourage you to contact them with any questions or
assistance in purchasing cattle. If you have any questions pertaining
to specific lots, we are always willing to discuss the lot to help make the
decision process easier.
DVauctions will be hosting our online bidding option. As with any online
bidding, please register as a buyer early, be prompt and bid early as a
slight delay may cost you the purchase of your selected lot. If you have
any questions please call Becky at 903-563-9177. Be online 30 minutes
early for the pregame show.
Accommodations: We are glad to assist any of the travelers with accom-
modations, either in Grenfell or Regina. If you would like to stay at the
Country Inn and Suites in Regina [refer to info page for contact], we can
also arrange a shuttle service to bring you out to the farm on Saturday.
Please call ahead if you would like to take advantage of the shuttle service,
which will be on a first come first serve basis.
Exporting to the US. Any purchases will be tested and delivered across the
US/Canada border. We can assist in further transportation connections and
certainly appreciate the business of our neighbors to the south.
Settlement needs to transpire prior to cattle being delivered unless prior
arrangements have been made.

Well another year has passed us by and bull sale season is upon us, and what a great group of bulls to get things started with. With Double Bar D mov-
ing their sale date, I knew that these bulls needed to look the part that much sooner of course. But what a surprise I got. It is amazing what top shelf
genetics will do -- the feeding program was very similar to last year. These bulls continue to impress to put on frame and muscle with a ration that stays
high in roughage helping to ensure a strong foundation of feet and legs and helping ensure longevity. The bulls with extra age continue to impress this
year again to have the muscularity and herd bull look. Make sure you check them out.
Saying that about the older bulls can be repeated for the yearlings as they too are very
impressive. As always, I make it a priority to help make sure that we do what is necessary
to develop these bulls on a high plain of nutrition for MAX results. It is, as usual, lots of fun
to be involved with the Double Bar D beef operation and see the development of the new
crop of calves every year. Never be afraid to step into the Dimler’s genetics and have full
faith in their development program.
