The Silver Spur Ranch, with locations inWyoming, Colorado, Ne-
braska and New Mexico is a progressive operation, with the goal to
produce forage efficient, moderate-framed, adaptable cattle. The
largest component of the Silver Spur herd is the commercial herd,
which is the proving ground for the genetics produced in the registered
herds.
The open, commercial Red Angus heifers we are selling are from the
Northern divisions of Silver Spur. Several of these heifers are AI sired
as a result of our annual heifer AI program. Buy with confidence,
these heifers know how to survive, can flesh and will be some of your
best calf raisers!
These heifers will sell in groups of five or more

While we at Horsley Red Angus have been customers of Cross Dia-
mond for several years, we feel very honored that Scott and Kim have
asked us to consign a group of commercial heifers right from the heart
of our replacement pasture to this year’s sale. Many of these commer-
cial cow prospects are progeny of genetics we have purchased from
Cross Diamond in the past. Our experience with the genetics from
Cross Diamond is they produce cattle that possess input efficiencies
that allow those cattle to “do more with less”. This has been a very im-
portant trait in making it through the drought years we have recently
experienced.
