Welcome to Our 2013 Sale
As we prepare for the 2013 sale, we often reflect on how we impact our customers’ lives and futures. We
thank all our customers for the faith and confidence they have in our program. From our perspective,
providing profit making animals for our customers, is our, and more importantly, our customers future.
Our industry is currently experiencing very good times. To maximize the effects of these good times, and
to prepare for some times not as good, we need to stay focused on what makes us profitable. Live calves
and cows that breed back are the most profitable traits in cow calf sector of the beef industry. The
Gelbvieh breed excels in these traits. Growth and carcass add value to the calves.
The traits that influence our profits are predicted by EPD’s and DNA profiles. The AGA has introduced
new EPD’s to help make our selection decisions. Please take a few minutes to review the summary sheet
we have put in to the catalogue.
As always we stay focused to provide genetics that will increase profits for our customers. To help our
customers understand and maximize the effects of the next sire they purchase, we provide a tool box
of selection tools for our customers to use. The catalogue, DVD, EPD’s, bidding options, insurance
options, delivery, and assistance to help select your bull, are part of the tools we provide you. Not all
buyers will use or need all the tools we provide. Use what will impact your herd and your profits.
As always, we welcome visitors to look the bulls over before the sale. We will provide a video for you to
preview the animals before the sale. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or assistance you
may need.
