This Cowline need no introduction. Adelle has already got Makin Hay, Rough Rider and Out Rider to her credit and now this
Ole son has not disappointed. He was the test high gainer this year, being just under a whopping 5 lbs. per day. These cattle
have really excelled in a range environment and have had a very positive impact on the Red Angus breed. Barking Iron is what
the Indians called a gun in the early days and the bull has some bark to his bite, just like a gun did in those days.

This is the second ¾ Red Angus, ¼ Simmental to sell and the
performance in these cattle is hard to match. There is no
shortage of cowline power here, either. His maternal brother
sold last year to Keith Hauck, ND, right near the top of the
hybrids.

We don’t have very many bulls with an AWW over 800 but
this is one of them. The Samurai cattle are pretty easy to find
and are standouts for type. Lot 23’s dam has been in the flush
program and has sold several sons through our offerings.

This will be a mating we will see a lot of in the future. Samu-
rai had really opened up new options for our customers. We
really feel sons like this bull will give ranchers scale-crushing
