As a young man I remember my dad, Gerald, always used Charolais bulls on his commercial herd. The Charolais-sired calves always weaned heavy off the cow, performed well in the feedlot and tasted really good, too. Using Charolais bulls offer pounds of profit from performance that is already bred in not fed on. These qualities always impressed me, sparking a very high interest in this breed. What started out as a small beef project soon grew into a seed-stock business. Highview Charolais’ greatest reinforcement is your trust and satisfaction of our progeny.
