Welcome to the 2013 Woodhill Bull Sale.
These bulls are a product of 29 years of planned mating decisions. We
offer 130 bulls listed in sale order. All bulls in this offering are AM, NH and
CA free by pedigree or test. The uniformity of the offering is apparent by
study of the data in addition to visual evaluation of the bulls.
Woodhill guarantees that these bulls are sound and their ability breed
cows. If there are problems, contact us within the 90-day breeding season
and your bull will be replaced. Should a suitable replacement be unavail-
able, you will receive a credit for next year’s sale. As usual, we deliver bulls
free of charge in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. There is a $100
credit off the purchase price for bulls hauled by the buyer.
Production of sound, functional, problem-free cattle has been the aim
and purpose of the breeding program at Woodhill. From the beginning,
we have used the available objective breeding tools, as well as selecting for
the many phenotypic and behavior traits fundamental to sound animal
husbandry. The result you see today is a cowherd with all the attributes that
make for an easier and more rewarding life for the cattleman.
We welcome calls about the sale offering and promise candid answers to
any and all questions. Please note the sale starts at 1 p.m. As usual, a hearty
lunch will be served about an hour before sale time. All are welcome and we
