DR Shining Spark is an outstanding son of All-time Leading Sire Shining Spark that we in-
troduced to our program in 2010. A successfully campaigned performance competitor, his
Shining Spark x Docs Sug pedigree combines two of the most proven cowhorse lines in the
performance horse industry. His powerful phenotype and potent genetics make him a valu-
able breeding stallion for our future.
DR Shining Spark, a model Quarter Horse and versatile AQHA, NRCHA, NRHA arena
performer, is a medium-sized, very good looking, black stallion with powerful conformation,
structural balance and correctness. A very talented athlete under saddle, he is an AQHAWorld
Show Working Cow Horse Qualifier earning his Performance ROM and is an NRHA and
NRCHA money winner.
This stallion’s unique bloodlines are backed by true Championship cowhorses. NRHAHall
of Fame sire Shining Spark stands as an All-time Leading NRCHA, NRHA and AQHA per-
formance sire with over $7.3 million progeny earnings. Dam Sugs Bitsy is a proven producer
whose foals won over $45,000 in cutting, reining and cowhorse events. Maternal sire Doc’s
Sug was a top competitor and sire of cutting and reining horses that won over $2.7 million!
Our DR Shining Spark foals are, indeed, fancy and possess the bred-in ability to excel in
the cowhorse arena and as breeding prospects! He is a great horse that has crossed very well
