Ali Frost is an outstanding Quarter Horse stallion whose pedigree is deep in the blood
of great performance horses. He topped our 2006 sale to The Four Horsemen partners.
This stallion is a Stanley Johnston bred horse, the noted South Dakota program that
produced some of the greatest rodeo competitors and breeding horses in the industry.
Every Stanley Johnston stallion is represented in this potent pedigree… Doc’s Jack
Frost, Orphan Drift, Sak Em San, Captain Crusade and Poco Speedy, some of the most
prolific sires of rodeo, cutting and all-around performers of their time. The power of
Stanley’s broodmare program is represented in dam Ms Sakem Silkwood, a beautiful,
productive matron descended from his elite Candywood (Poco Judy Sue) mare line.
Ali Frost presents the image of a Stanley Johnston bred athlete. Charismatic and in-
telligent with a big, intense eye, his size, dimension, powerful deep shoulder, sound
structure and incredible movement are trademarks of his pedigree. Under saddle, he’s
a huge stopper, extremely cowy and has a big motor that runs everything down. In a
brief 2009, three-month AQHA competition run, he won pts. in Heading, Heeling,
Calf Roping and Barrel Racing qualifying for theWorld ShowHeeling in just two shows
and earned his Performance ROM.
