We invite you to Mitchell, South Dakota on February 12th!
Welcome to our 32nd Annual Production Sale,
The world, more than ever, enjoys quality beef and in particular U.S. beef. Our
job as progressive cattlemen is not only to supply that need with the very best
nutritious lean meat we can raise, but also increase that very important level of
consumer confidence in our abilities to produce a safe and wholesome product.
The media is always looking for headlines-let us make sure they have positive
things to report that will bring more value to our meat products.
We are extremely pleased with the tremendous job our mother cows do for
us year after year. We realize that they are the difference makers, the bill
payers, and also the herd bull makers. Our cowherd has endured over 40
years of continuous selection pressure and uncompromising standards of
production. They are what makes us what we are.
We are again proud of the cattle we have to offer. They represent the
result of 42 years of planning and selection. Our goals remain high,
we are committed to the production of gentle problem free cattle with depth,
thickness, eye appeal, and maternal power.
The bulls selling represent the very best we have ever produced. The genetic
blending of our elite herd sires with our cowherd has again yielded some exciting
results. Bulls that are equally impressive on paper and phenotypically. With
the clear genetic advantages these bulls possess-there future in the beef cattle
business is reserved.
The bred heifers are a tremendous set of royally bred Werning females mated
to elite breed leading sires. The calves these ladies are carrying all have the
opportunity genetically and phenotypically to be the next generation of herd
bull prospects or herd replacements. I truly believe over the next few years those
hardworking people with cows will receive their rewards.
We would like to thank our many valued customers. We enjoy the opportunity
to work with your operations. We honor the time we get to spend with our
repeat customers and welcome new ones. We truly enjoy the cattle business-it is
our life!
Special thanks to our many family, friends, and neighbors who assist us in so
many ways. Your loving acts of kindness and thoughtfulness will never be
forgotten.
Hope to see you sale day or prior to.
