Bulls are guaranteed for everything (death, injury, dissatis-
faction) for the first breeding season. If not satisfied, half of
the purchase price (less salvage value) will go towards credit
in a future sale. Bulls will be 100% fertility guaranteed the
first year. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more
than the purchase price of the bull.

Sale terms and conditions will be the same as those that
are recommended by the American Gelbvieh Association. Ev-
ery precaution will be exercised for the safety and welfare of
those attending the sale. However, all persons attending the
sale do so at their own risk. Neither the sale management
nor the consignors assume any liability, legal or otherwise,
for any accidents which may occur.
Cattle will be eligible for the interstate shipment with all the
necessary health papers furnished. Bulls selling outside the
country may need to have further testing coordinated after
the sale.

Bulls will be kept free of charge, in lieu of free shipping, at
the buyer’s risk for 45 days. We recommend purchasing mor-
tality insurance if they are left for us to deliver.
Unless bull is designated as unregistered, registration pa-
pers on all bulls will be automatically transferred.
A complimentary lunch will be served at 12 Noon.
Cattle are trucked free anywhere in the continental U.S. or
the nearest Canadian Port of Entry when seven or more bulls
are purchased or a total of $20,000 is spent by one buyer.
If you purchase less than seven head or spend less than
$20,000, we guarantee the trucking cost will not exceed
$300/head anywhere in the continental U.S. The bulls are
trucked at no charge for the first 250 miles.
If you haul your
own bull home sale day, deduct $100 per bull.
Volume discounts are available on purchases of 5 or more
bulls to a single party: 5% on 5 bulls, 6% on 6 bulls, 7% on 7
bulls, etc. up to 10% on 10 or more bulls.
We are retaining one-third revenue sharing semen interest in
every bull selling in this sale. Full possession and full salvage
value sells on all bulls unless otherwise noted.
The sale will begin at 1 pm with Balancer and Gelbvieh bulls.
The Angus bulls will start at approximately 2 pm.

The fall bulls will have a breeding soundness evaluation (in-
cluding semen test) prior to the sale. Yearlings will need test-
ing.
The Thorstenson Annual Production Sale will be broadcast
“live” over the Internet through DV Auction services.
