brother to Red Rock, the sire to Dream Buck (312” @ 4). Purple 8463 is the dam of Lazy (237” @ 2, DNAS#56522, sired by BAL). Lazy has an incredible start to antler
growth in 2012 and every indication is that he will likely surpass 300” at 3 yrs old. Buyer may choose to breed Purple 8463 to any breeder buck used on the Triple
JJJ Ranch in the fall of 2012. The list of potential breeders will include Black BAL (461” @ 3, DNAS#51014), the highest scoring buck ever raised in the state of Texas.
Another option for the buyer would be to replicate the cross that created Lazy and
breed Purple 8463 back to BAL (335” @ 6, DNAS#27545). The BAL line, developed
by Triple JJJ Ranch, has a strong, Texas foundation that has proven to be much less
susceptible to Bluetongue/EHD than other bloodlines utilized at Triple JJJ Ranch. Don’t
