Dear Fellow Cattlemen,
We look forward to seeing everyone in Decorah for the 13th annual Springer Simmental “Sale of Value
Based Genetics.” It has been an honor to work with the Springer family in preparing for this event again
this year. Jeff and crew, along with special guest consignors, have put together another outstanding set
of bulls, embryo packages and bred females.
For over thirty years the Springer family has strived toward one goal, creating functional, productive, “no
holes” cattle that offer first rate phenotypes and individual performance. Through the accomplishment
of this goal, they produce a top notch herd bull prospect that can help their customer excel in the feedlot,
show ring and most importantly in their cow herd.
The influence of “Yukon” is showcased in this offering, along “Rio Bravo,” “Sweet Meat,” “Titan” and
others. Simmental breeders throughout the country have come to appreciate the quality and mater-
nal attributes from this top notch program. Jeff has con-
tinuously put the emphasis on performance and carcass to
positively influence the bottom line of his customers. There
is no doubt these genetics will excel in the feedlot, in the
show ring and in your cow herd.
As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate
to contact the Springer’s or someone in the CAS office. We
will be more than happy to assist you and we hope to see
all of you on the 23rd.
Sincerely,
AL & JEANNE CONOVER

Springer Simmental - Sale of Value Based Genetics.
Tremonton, Utah - Boxelder County Fairgrounds.
April 6, 2013 - 1:00 pm - Carl Van Tassel, Auctioneer
We are excited to work with Richard Nicholas (435-452-1951) Tremonton, Utah, as our bull sale representative. We will be
selling all of our simangus bulls raised in Iowa as well as our younger PB calves. Many ET sibs to bulls sold in Iowa will sell .
They will be weighing 12-1500 lbs and be ready for hard service. We will have room for bulls going out that would be pur-
chased in our Decorah sale as well as room for bulls to come back from our Utah sale . Our bulls sold in that area previously
have not shown signs of brisket disease, they will all be Trich and PI tested, completely vaccinated and poured. We have de-
veloped great relationships with long time buyers in the Utah, Wyoming area and are pleased our genetics have contributed
to their profitability. We look forward to developing new friendships and will continue to provide seedstock that enhance
your cattle operations.
Sincerely,
Jeff Springer
