The bulls in this sale represent the results of a long time breeding program focused on
performance, carcass, calving ease and fault free cows that can perform on native grass and
cornstalks. We primarily use highly proven AI sires and evaluated large contemporary groups
of calves so our EPD accuracy is high. Impression, Mandate, Upward, High Prime and 5050
are the high accuracy sires that best fit our specifications. To that line up of top sires from the
breed, we added two bulls that we raised and sold in our 2011 sale. Plattemere MDB N07 is a
calving ease son of Marshall Daybreak, the ABS efficiency standout. Our N07 bull calves were
equal in performance, ratioing 100 at weaning and 99 at yearling, compared to the calves from
the five nationally known performance AI sires, and were lower in birth weight, ratioing only
97. Plattemere Weigh Up is a Sitz Upward son purchased by Select Sires and Deer Valley at our
2011 sale. His bull calves outweighed their contemporaries by 50 pounds at weaning, ratioing
107 for weaning and 105 for yearling. We’re extremely gratified with the performance of these
two Snyder Bros. raised sires compared to the best of the Angus Breed.
At the back of the catalog is a color coded depiction of every bull’s EPDs. It’s a quick way to
visualize that these bulls are near the top of the breed in all the economically relevant traits.
Ultrasound data was not available in time to be included in the cataloged carcass EPDs, but
updated EPDs including these measurements will be available online or by special request and
as a supplement on sale day.
The sale will be web broad cast live by DVAuction. Please go to their site to preview videos of

As always, we guarantee your satisfaction. If you’re not satisfied with your bull, let us know and
we will either replace him with a bull of equal value or give you credit for next year’s sale. The
