Some of these heifers were raised and some purchased. The Spring Born heifers purchased were not exposed until November so they would fit into the Rhodes Fall Calving Program. As you would
expect, they are larger and more mature due to this age advantage. They were all A.I. bred on 11/16/12 and then cleaned up with
HXC Tool Time 1102Y
(#1439174) a P707 son from the
Hueftle Red Angus program of Nebraska. He went in on 11/29/12 and came out 2/18/13. The heifers were then pregnancy checked on 3/15/13 and the veterinarian estimated calving date is
indicated on each lot. These are estimates only and calving dates and sires cannot be assumed and are not guaranteed as printed. They have all been tested for Brucellosis and Tuburculosis on 5/28/13
with all results negative. They were previously tested PI negative and all heifers are eligible for interstate transportation.
