Welcome to our annual sale – 2013 edition
It’s our great honor and pride that you take the time to look over this sale
offering. With that honor and pride, comes a great deal of responsibility -
this is something that we here at RBM don’t take lightly as both our bottom
lines depend on it. As we have said in past letters “this is the best set ever”
it’s not just a statement - it is THE BEST SET EVER!!!! We feel that this
set of cattle (bulls and heifers) will help position your operation for the future. All of us in the livestock business
have enjoyed an excellent cattle market this past year. We believe this is only going to get better as cow numbers
are at the lowest level for many years. Those of us who have stayed with the cows, over the years, will be
greatly rewarded in the future.
There have been some changes here. We are still trying to grow but with limited labor and facility, the
decision was made to put a small set of cows to calve in May and June. Therefore, we will be selling coming
2 year olds in 2014. We sorted a set of bulls that weren’t in the 2012 sale to be sold in 2013 – they were sorted
with no papers, just kind. They will be BIG, STOUT bulls that will cover a big number of cows. We want you
to know RBM as the long-age, big bull stop on your list.
We have purchased many customers’ cattle this year and helped place many more. It is very rewarding for
us as seed stock producers to see RBM genetics in demand throughout the livestock industry.
We believe that this is an important time in the cattle business to purchase the best genetics you can to produce
more live calves, performance and maternal traits than ever before. People finishing cattle want to buy high
quality cattle with a program, not just commodity cattle, that program is the RBM program.
This year all the bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. We will keep the yearling bulls until May 1.
The two year old bulls will be picked up or delivered by March 20th. The heifers can be picked up sale day or
shortly thereafter.
If you take your bull home sale day, you will receive a crisp $100 bill.
