Chunky was purchased from long time breed Doug Pauley at the Midwest bull sale. His sire
group sold for over a $3000 average last year including a standout herd sire to Mathews Farms
in Tennessee. It’s apparent that Chunky is really going to work on Bravo daughters. He was
brought in to add carcass genetics in a “Chunky” package. He’s been tested AM and NH free
and will see increased use in our herd.

Quality Focus was purchased as the high selling Angus bull in the 2008 Knoll Crest Sale in
Virginia as the high ratio, high ultra sounding Angus bull sired by Mytty In Focus and out of a
1407 X Reliant bred cow, he has proven to breed to his exceptional EPD’s posting a 95 BW ratio
103 WW ratio in our herd which is better than his sire, Mytty In Focus in our program. You’ll
like his many sons for there ultra calving ease with really good growth. His 1st daughters are
proving to be really nice young cows. A tremendous sire group you’ll enjoy sorting thru.

Great Western sire the 2008 National Champion Balancer® bull and 2008 Reserve National

our program after seeing his first sire group sell in the Eby Ranch bull sale. They consistently
had more depth, muscle mass and eye appeal than any sire group I’ve seen. This is his last sire
group at Post Rock and you’ll really like both his Balancer® and Purebred sons. They are good!

Star Power was retained to use in our program to inject the maternal excellence of his dam
and the muscle and growth of his sire deep into our genetic base. He has proven to be a sire
of very acceptable birth weights with tremendous growth. His early AGA Progeny report has
102 BW 106 WW ratio’s. His sons have performed well on test and several are outstanding
individuals as well with the extra muscle and eye appeal of their sire. We expect his daughters
to be some of our very best. His calves have proven to us that he needs to be used very heavily
the next few years. Star Power was Reserve Sr Bull Calf Champion and a year later was Sr Bull
Champion in Denver as his only 2 shows.
