The dam of Lots 13-15 was the $58,000
second top-selling cow of the 2005 Thomas Ranch Sale in Backer City, OR
purchased by a partnership of Parker Angus Ranch and Byrd Cattle Co.
of Red Bluff, CA. Her first natural calf, Thomas Precision E161 3068, was
purchased in the 2003 Thomas Ranch Sale for $13,500 as a weaning age
calf. He went on to prove himself at Parker Ranch through his progeny and
today is the 16th ranked proven bull in the Angus breed for Ribeye Area.
In Byrd Cattle Co.’s 2010 sale, a full brother to Lot 14 was one of the top-
selling bulls, selling for $11,000 and in Byrd’s September 2011 sale, a full
brother to Lot 13 brought $8,300.
