Welcome to the 2013 Nebraska Bull Test LLC sale. The last year has been
an interesting year to say the least. I think the last couple months have been
encouraging in the fact that the weather is acting more normal this winter. I believe
this is an indication that this spring and summer will be a more normal year for
weather. I don’t have a crystal ball to be sure but that is how the weather feels to
me.
I do know that those cattlemen that have cattle at the end of this drought will be
poised for several of the best years ever in the cattle business. The nation’s cow herd
is at an all-time low with demand for beef growing with the world population. The
good times are ahead.
The consignors have assembled a great set of bulls again for your evaluation and
purchase. I have had several people that looked the bulls over tell me this is the best
set of bulls ever. I must admit that I can’t argue with their evaluation of the bulls.
We have a set of bulls that would stack up against any production sale anywhere.
We encourage everyone to come and look at the bulls and give us your opinion.
We encourage you to visit with the breeders, get to know their program and
guarantees. This is our consignors’ sale and they have worked hard to bring you a
