Mushrush Red Angus is offering you three ways to invest in our females: Commercial first calf
heifer pairs, Fall bred heifers, and open Yearling commercial heifers.
Commercial First Calf Heifer pairs – We retained a sample right out of our commercial bred heifer program to
showcase the quality of the heifers we handle. The heifers are calving at catalog printing (in a major snowstorm)
so the exact number of pairs will be determined at a later date. We expect 20 pairs offered in small groups sorted
by sire and sex. The artificial insemination sire used was Mushrush Impressive U236, Ref. sire M. A supplement
sheet detailing the exact lotting will be available sale day, or before on our website, and by calling 620-273-858.
All calves are tagged with the Red Angus Feeder Calf Certification Program tag and are wearing a number that
corresponds to their dam’s ear tag number.
Commercial Bred Fall heifers – We expect around 20 head of fancy Fall bred heifers. Exact number will be
determined at preg check after the catalog has gone to print. The heifers were heat synchronized and A.I. bred
to our good herd sires, Ref. sire R and Ref .sire V on Dec. 2, 2012. Reference sire R and Q were used natural
service until January 28, 2013. Calves should begin arriving around the first of September.
Open Commercial heifers – Twelve head of ready to breed fancy open commercial Red Angus heifers sired
by Mushrush Impressive U236 and Lock ‘N’ Load U213. They are from Randy Meyer, in New Brunswich,
MO. Randy is known far and wide for his exceptional quality commercial Red Angus cow herd. These
heifers have been raised on Northern Missouri fescue. The heifers will be sorted into groups for size and
sire.
