Profitable Returns For Our Customers
In our 2012 sale Rutledge Farms, IL, bought MA Black-
cap 1056-1214 with calf at foot sired by BT Final Prod-
uct for $4,250. At their annual sale held in November
the heifer calf sold for $5,500, giving them over 120%
return on their investment. At our 2011 sale Panther
Creek Ranch, IL, purchased M A Black Lass 385-46
with bull calf at foot sired by MCATL Finality for $6,100.
In their spring 2012 sale they sold the bull calf for
$13,000, topping their sale, giving them an over 200%
return on their investment. Varley Angus, IA purchased
Miss Forever 19G with bull calf at foot for $2,250 and
the bull calf topped their sale giving them an over 200%
return. This success is not to mention many sons and
daughters of cows sold through our sale that have been
marketed as value added breeding stock.

Breeding Guarantee
We guarantee that all the cattle sold through the “Pick’em in Pike”
Sale, both bulls and heifers, are fertile to the best of our knowl-
edge. Bulls selling for more than $2,500 sell with breeding guar-
antee. If a bull is found to be functionally infertile during the first
breeding season, we will provide you with a satisfactory replace-
ment (if available), or issue you a credit equal to the bull’s pur-
chase price minus the salvage value of $1,600. If an open heifer is
determined to be a non-breeder, then we would ask you to sell or
return her and would offer you the difference in her purchase price
minus the salvage value as credit in an future “Pick ’em in Pike”
Sale. All cows selling with calves or examined pregnant will carry
their own guarantee. We would suggest that normal care needs to
be exercised toward these cattle and particularly that the yearling
bulls are not allowed to get too thin. All claims must be made by
September 1, 2013. Heifers shown or prepared for show are not
guaranteed to breed.
