Dear Friends and Hereford Enthusiasts:
It is our sincere pleasure to wel-
come friends, family, and Beef Producers to
the Mrnak Hereford Ranch’s 46th Annual Pro-
duction Sale in Bowman, North Dakota on
Sunday, February 10, 2013.
Yet again, we were faced with much
excitement, and many challenges in 2012.
We found ourselves on the drier end of the
“
moisture spectrum” as compared to a fortu-
nately wet 2011, and it is a constant reminder
of how important it is to always strive to im-
prove the growth, performance, and efficiency
of our calves to allow for the lowest cost of
gain as possible as we watch feed costs climb.
Nevertheless, our mission has stayed con-
sistent throughout the years to offer to our
customers some of the Nations most proven,
efficient, productive, and performance driven
seedstock, and our 2013 offering is no excep-
tion!
This year’s offering will definitely get
you the “Mrnak Advantage”, as we have only
the top cut of Mrnak-bred females from some
of the areas top producers, and this year’s bulls
are stout, rugged, and ready to perform. The
bulls have been fed a high roughage ration and
have been turned out on pasture from April
through November. Genetically, these bulls
are selling guaranteed IE and Diluter free.
Like any program, our fundamental
base starts at the factory. We have pursued
maternal strength in our cowherd for as long
as we have been in the business. At the Mrnak
Ranch, we maintain a cowherd that is moder-
ate in frame size with high milk, fertility, and
an extremely quiet disposition. We have al-
ways strived to carefully select our herd sires
to build and produce a sound maternal cow-
herd with performance driven genetics.
