HH HOW THE BULLS
ARE HANDLED HH
The bulls and their dams are moved to large pastures in May and
remain there until October. In October, they are weaned together
in one large group. Then from November 15 to March 1, they
are bunk fed at the Molitor headquarters with a high roughage
diet set for a gain of 3 ¼ lbs per day. A final weight will be taken
on about March 1 before they are run together on grass in one
large pasture and remain there until sale day. Yearling weights
were taken and ultrasound analysis was done on February 5 and
February 6, 2013.
RETAINED INTEREST
EXPLANATION
We will be retaining a revenue sharing interest in several bulls that sell.
This means that you will receive full possession and salvage value in
the bull. Our retained interest gives us the right to use the bull by AI
and share in semen sales of the bull. Semen will be collected at your
convenience and all fees associated with collection will be shared
by interest owners. We feel that bulls you purchase from us and are
later so-called discovered by the industry will be an economic windfall
deserved by the bull owners. If we have not retained an interest in these
bulls at the time of initial sale, we may be willing to buy back an interest
in those bulls, on your terms.
