Dear Angus Friends,
Welcome to our 34th Annual Production Sale. It takes much hard work by family, friends, and custom help
to put on a sale of this magnitude and quality. We are appreciative of that support and look forward to seeing
everyone on sale day to celebrate our 61st year in business.
This herd is made up of trouble-free, calving ease, fertile and top performing cattle that rank in the top 30% of
the breed for yearling growth with birth weight EPDs that rank in the top 20% of the breed. For carcass traits, we
use genetics that emphasize higher marbling and carcass weight EPDs. We do seek to increase rib-eye area as
long as it does not adversely affect birth weight and mature size.
The Spring yearling bulls selling will average about 1200 pounds on sale day but have low back fat
measurements. Past customer satisfaction with the condition of our bulls is due partly to the sound and proven
growing diet that we use that promotes steady gain and does not push them too hard. Our feeding system still
gives the bulls the opportunity to compete against each other and exhibit their own superior gain potential.
The Females selling were selected because they have maternal sisters that remain in the herd. They
demonstrate the replacement quality of their cow families. The Fall born yearling females selling are the entire
group of replacement heifers born in the Fall of 2011.
At Molitor Angus we keep abreast of all aspects of the beef industry
by having an investment in every major segment of that business.
Those major segments are: (1) Production, (2) Feedlot, (3) Packing Plant
and (4) Marketing the End Product (Restaurant). We try to breed cattle
that fill all aspects of those segments and continue to find and use
great sires that are an outcross to many Angus Bloodlines. This year’s
new bloodlines are Hoover Dam, Connealy Right Answer 746, and LD
Emblazon 999.
We hope you appreciate the entire offering represented in this sale.
Be confident that you are buying cattle that are fully guaranteed by a
program that has 61 years’ experience in the Angus business.
Let us know if we can be of assistance in helping you with your
selection. We greatly appreciate your interest in our family operation.

Dear Cattlemen,
Plan now to be on hand for the 34th Annual Molitor Angus Ranch Production Sale. Included is an outstanding se-
lection of herd sire prospects dominated by reliable calving-ease genetics plus an outstanding group of replacement

of calving-ease, performance, carcass and disposition for an impressive EPD average.
This offering features the progeny of leading sires including some of the best of breed-leading AI sires and the
outstanding Molitor herd sire battery that have proven competitive in many facets.
It is a special pleasure and privilege to work with Mike and Richard Molitor in the presentation of this outstanding
annual event. Please feel free to contact them or any of us at the American Angus Hall of Fame if we can be of assis-
tance in any way. We are here to serve.
Sincerely,
Tom Burke
