SIGHT-UNSEEN PURCHASE GUARANTEE
We provide a complete satisfaction guarantee for cattle purchased from
this sale on order or via the internet.
SALE LOCATION
Lyons Ranch, located 7 ½ miles north of I-70 at Exit 307. Or, 3 miles south
of Manhattan on McDowell Creek Road (county road 901). See map on
back cover or on our website.
LOT NUMBERS
Catalog numbers correspond to ear tags.
The sale order will be announced sale day.
SEMEN CHECKS & HERD HEALTH
All bulls have been semen evaluated by Kansas State University veteri-
narians. Any unsatisfactory or deferred bulls will not sell in the sale. All
cattle will sell with proper health papers for immediate shipment.
Bulls have been given Stay Bred VL5 prior to the sale. We recommend
all bulls receive a breeding soundness exam prior to each subsequent
breeding season.
Tested BVD-PI Free: The entire cow herd at the north and south ranches,
as well as each animal in the sale, has been tested and confirmed nega-
tive for BVD-PI. We have been testing for seven years and have never had
a positive animal.
BREEDING SOUNDNESS GUARANTEE
All bulls are fully guaranteed for breeding soundness for the first 90-day
breeding season.
BUYING CATTLE OVER THE INTERNET
. Please let us know if you plan to buy over the internet and have ap-
plied but haven’t heard back from DV Auction within a few days.
. After the sale, please contact Jan Lyons to make payment and
subsequent trucking arrangements. If you purchase cattle via the
internet and are not satisfied, we have a sight unseen guarantee.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All cattle will sell according to the terms and conditions of the
American Angus Association.
UPDATED INFORMATION
Any updates will be available as soon as possible on our website at
and printed on sale day.
DELIVERY
We will deduct $50 from the purchase price of every bull purchased
if picked up sale day or the week of the sale. Free delivery to Kansas
and surrounding states. We are happy to assist in any trucking ar-
rangements. If desired, we will keep the bulls until April with a $2 per
day charge to cover feed costs.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence
over information printed in this catalog.
