RED ANGUS COMMERCIAL BRED HEIFERS+ 35 REDWHITEFACE HEIFERS
These heifers are from our customers and some fellow Red Angus breeders
with whom we own bulls, use similar genetics and share breeding philosophy.
They are from breeding programs that have Gill Red Angus and Arrowsmith
Red Angus influence in their herds. They have been AI'd to some of the top
Red Angus bulls that ABS has to offer, like Above & Beyond, plus TRADESMAN
from 5L and a Hereford bull UPS Domino 3027 [for some top red & black WF
calves]. All these bulls are known calving ease bulls that have been proven.
They were then cleaned up with calving ease balanced trait bulls that are in
the sale from 5L, Arrowsmith and Bruns Red Angus programs.
We have a complete vaccination program with Bovishield Gold 5 VL5 and
Vision 7 Somnus given pre-breeding and treated with Ivomectin products
three times for internal and external parasite control.
Due to the extremely dry weather conditions this past summer we have sup-
plemented the heifers with grain cubes since the middle of August. They will be ready to calve and go to work for you.
The heifers were AI'd in 3 groups April 14, April 28 and May 12, 2012 and clean up bulls were then turned out after the AI date and
pulled August 20. The heifers were ultrasounded August 15 & 16 for expected calving date. At the sale all information as to calving
date, AI sire and natural service dates will be provided for each pen of heifers. You will not lack any information and it will be avail-
able online through DVAuction on their website or at

The heifers will be sold in groups that can be divided into multiples of 5 or more. The successful bidder on the first pen of heifers
has the option of taking the whole group that have been sorted together and so designated in the supplement sheets. If the whole
pen is not purchased by one buyer the heifers will be gate cut out of the pen at the time of delivery or following the sale when they
are moved to larger feeding lots. The heifers have been videoed this last week as they were sorted into their respective groups and
they will be sold by the video at the sale. This will also be available thru DVAuction for your bidding and viewing. Video taken this
