RED ANGUS BRED COMMERCIAL HEIFERS
Craig Mease and Buddy Rickard wanted to stay in the heifer business and purchased these heifers from Miles City, MT They were
developed in their growing yard and were on native grass following breeding. The Miles City heifers are from Pieper breeding. They
were vaccinated with Bovishield Gold 5/VL5 and Vision 7/Somnus after they arrived and again before breeding. They were also
treated with Ivomectin products for parasite control.
They were all AI'd on May 14, 2012. Thirty [30] heifers were bred to the 3027 bull for red white faced calves and the balance to
ABOVE & BEYOND. Then they were pasture exposed to Lonker low BW bulls. They were sonogramed pregnant on 9/9/11. The
heifers will be divided into groups by pregnancy and size for the sale the same as the Lonker/Red Rock heifers to make uniform
groups. Certainly an opportunity to purchase some great Red Angus genetics to make a really uniform set of calves. There is some

HEAD RED/RWF COMMERCIAL OPEN HEIFERS
These heifers are from BrendonWheelock of Medicine Lodge. They are home raised mostly red and red baldy heifers that are fall
born. They were vaccinated with Bovishield Gold 5/VL5 and a clostridial combination at weaning. They are adequately developed
to breed for a fall calving program or can be added to a spring calving program.
They will be divided into sale groups the same way as the other groups of heifers so that you can purchase the numbers you need to
complete your herd. Certainly a chance to develop some top quality RED genetics. See the last paragraph on the Lonker/Red Rock
heifers for more explanation on the way the heifers will be divided for the sale.
