Mike spotted the matriarch of this cow family, Lot 34, from
three pens away in Hinkson’s 2002 Cow sale. She was phe-
notypically and structurally as correct as any Angus female
in the breed, as proof by herself as a mature cow and her
progeny in this sale. We like the depth of body and clean
front this cow possesses and an added bonus is her produc-
tion record for yearling weight with 3 calves ratioing 102,
and ribeye area with two at a phenomenal 132 ratio. You
could drive the wheels off a pickup to find anything this
good. It is hard to let part of this cow family go since they
have done such a good job, but we also know that our cus-
tomers will appreciate the value in this lineage and it will be
profitable for them.

Show Heifer Prospect
A fancy show heifer prospect with an excellent disposition and structural
correctness above reproach. An opportunity to invest in rare, valuable
genetics. Coleman Juneau 044, being a maternal brother to Coleman
Regis 904, is a sure bet for foundation genetics.
