General Sale Information –
Terms And Conditions:
Terms of the sale are cash or your
good check, with settlement to be made with the clerk
immediately following the sale and before cattle are
removed from the sale site. Billed accounts are due within
10 days of the sale.
Phone Bids:
If you are unable to attend the sale personally,
simply contact one of the sale personnel whose phone
numbers are listed prior to the sale. They will accept your
bid in confidence and act as your agent at ringside.
Health:
Each animal sells with a state approved health
certificate for interstate shipment. It is the buyer’s
responsibility to make themselves aware of their state’s
health requirements.
Breeding Guarantee:
The Standard Guarantee as endorsed
by the American Shorthorn Association will be followed.
ASA Genetic Defect Disclaimer:
Unless an animal is listed
on the American Shorthorn Association “genetic defect
status list”, the American Shorthorn Association makes no
representation of any kind as to whether or not the animal
has a genetic defect.
Liability:
Each animal is at the buyer’s risk when sold, but
will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of
time. Neither the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale
managers, or other affiliated personnel can be held
responsible for any accidents, but they will make every
effort to provide for the comfort and safety of those
attending.
