We wish to welcome each of you to the Ranch and our 12th annual Landon Hays
Memorial Angus Sale. We certainly hope your visit with us will be an enjoyable one as
well as fruitful for the future of your cattle operations.
If you’re a repeat customer, welcome home, and if this is your first visit to the
ranch, welcome to the Hays Brothers family.
Our philosophy is that no endeavor can be deemed successful unless both parties
to the endeavor benefit. Using this concept as the cornerstone of our program, we
have embarked on a challenging mission to become your one stop shopping center for
cattle.
Not only do we offer to sell you your bulls and replacement females, both registered and commercial, we will also buy back your
calves, cull cows, and bulls. If you wish to retain ownership of your calves through the feedlot process, give us a call. Through our
custom cattle feeding operation in Hart, Texas we can show you what options are available to you.
As for this years offering, we feel this may very well be the best set of Bulls we have offered to date. They are truly BIG and
STOUT and are ready to go to work. Also, with over 1000 head of Females both registered and commercial, including pairs, breds,
and opens, there will be something of interest for everyone.

at 12:30 pm.

Dear Friends,
According to the cattle pundits, cattle numbers in the United States are at the lowest level
since 1952. Fats have traded in the $130 range live an $200 dressed. Calves off their mom-
mas will bring $750-$1000 per head. If ever, you wanted to be in the cow/calf business, it
appears that now would be a good time.
Looking at these fundamentals it appears the cow/calf business should remain good for the
foreseeable future. Good replacement females in any quantity are hard to find.
Fast forward to 12:30 pm March 16th Arcadia, Louisiana where you have the opportunity
to appraise 75 big stout 2 year old bulls and over 1000 head of heifers. Seventy of the bulls
are Angus and for the first time at Hays Brothers 6 horned Hereford bulls will be offered. The heifers will be both purebred and
commercial. Expect to see pairs, breds, and opens with some in truck load lots.
I’ll not go so far as to say that this will be the largest private offering of cattle in our area ever, however, with the amount of gray
hair I have acquired, I will just say in a long time.
This will be a great place to expand your cow herd, especially when you factor in the Hays Brothers buy back program, the ability
to retain ownership and feed your calves with Hays Brothers, and free trucking on your purchases.
