Directions:
From the 10 loop in Athens, GA take Hwy. 29 north about
14
miles. Take a right on the Diamond Hill-Colbert Rd. Go
3/4
mile to first dirt road on left. You’re there!
From Danielsville take Hwy. 29 south about 5 miles. Take
a left onto Diamond Hill-Colbert Rd. Go 3/4 mile to first
dirt road on left. You’re there!

Sale Order:
Bulls will sell first in lot order, then heifers will sell in lot
order.
Accommodations:
There are a wide variety of hotels in Athens to serve any
budget. Please call us and we will be glad to assist you!
Food:
Lunch will be available sale day starting at 11 a.m.
Trucking:
Free delivery on all bulls is available in a 200-mile radius
-
additional miles at cost. We will have truckers available
to assist you in the delivery of the commercial females if
you need assistance.
Liability:
All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. The
owners or sale staff assume no liability for property loss
or accidents that may occur.
Volume Discount:
A 5% discount on four bulls or more by one buyer.
Herd Health:
Bulls have been ear notched and tested free of PI-BVD.
The bulls have been vaccinated for IBR, BVD, PI3, BRSV,
Blackleg 8, Vibrio and Lepto 5. All bulls and heifers have
been poured with Cydectin. All bulls have had a breed-
ing soundness exam performed by “The Bull Whisperer”
Don Weir. The heifers have had tract scores performed
by Dr. Les Sales and deemed reproductively sound. The
pregnancies have been confirmed safe. All heifers have
received modified live pre-breeding vaccinations.
Terms and Conditions:
Cattle will sell under the suggested Terms and Conditions
of the American Angus Association (
.
org/Pub/suggested_sale_terms.pdf). Settlement should
be made on your purchase at the conclusion of the sale.
Cattle will not be released from the sale premises until
payment is received in full. Purchaser assumes the risk
of death or injury to their livestock immediately after the
animal is sold. Insurance is available to insure the animal
until delivery to the buyer’s ranch, at the buyer’s cost.
Gretsch Brothers Angus will provide health certificates for
interstate shipment to any of the lower 48 states. Gretsch
Brothers Angus reserves the right to retain a 1/3 revenue
sharing interest in all bulls selling.
Breeding Guarantee:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. All bulls
are guaranteed to be sound breeders for three months
following the sale. If there is a reproductive problem,
call us right away and a replacement will be provided if
available, or a credit equal to the animal’s purchase price
minus salvage value will be issued for the replacement
of one animal. This guarantee does not cover illness or
death to the animal. Livestock insurance is available on
sale day at the settlement table at the buyer’s expense.
