Dear Friends,
Our family and crew are very excited to invite you to our first annual bull and
replacement commercial heifer sale. We have a lot of friends and fellow breeders to
thank for the success of this sale. Although it’s our first sale, it’s not our first rodeo!
We have been in the Angus business since 2007! We have slowly grown to the size
and quality of genetics that would allow us to have an auction. We thank you for
taking the time to evaluate our genetics in this sale offering. Many of the bulls in this
offering read with numbers as good as any breeding program in the country! Our
motto of “Genetics with a Great Foundation” comes from the belief that by using
proven, high accuracy AI bulls on females with generations of high accuracy sires,
we will produce predictable results.
The bulls in this sale have been handled in a special way to encourage docil-
ity! This is important to us, and as you view our bulls we hope you recognize this
important trait. In selecting AI bulls to create these breeding bulls, we put special
emphasis on calving ease and “Targeting the Brand.” The American Angus Associa-
tion and the Certified Angus Beef staff have done a wonderful job making the Angus
breed the #1 choice of beef in the entire beef sector. We will have a CAB brand logo
on all bulls in this sale that meet this target.
The commercial heifers we have to offer would be a great selection for either the
commercial cattleman or as ET recips for the registered breeder! See the back of the
sale book for more information on these high quality bred heifers!
All bulls in this sale offering are free of all known genetic defects.
The format for our auction is as simple as we can make it. We have taken a
short video of all cattle in the sale. The cattle will be on display outside of the sale
barn. At sale time no cattle will go through the ring. We will sell the cattle from the
auction block with the video of each animal on display. The cattle won’t even know
they have been sold. (Another docility handling method.) The sale will be broadcast
by DV Auction over the internet for those that would like to bid, but cannot make
the auction. During the auction the bulls and females will be moved into the “upper
barn” to prepare them for load out. We have both ground loading and elevated load-
ing for tractor trailers available. If you would like to view the cattle before sale day,
