Landau has worked exceptionally well on Next Step daughters. This
lot has been an impressive individual in his contemporary group since
birth. He records a moderate birth weight EPD and still ranks in the
top 20% for weaning weight and is in the top 10% for yearling weight.
He ranks in the top 3% of the breed for rib eye area and the top 10%
for scrotal. He ratioed 102 at weaning and went on to gain 4.56 lb./day
through the development stage and posted an adjusted 365 of 1352 lb.

His full brother, Passport, was the high selling bull of the 2013
GENETRUST@Cavender’s Neches River Ranch Sale when he sold for
$80,000 for 2/3 interest and possession to The Oaks Farms and Bushley
Creek Cattle Co. This flush of full sibs has not disappointed as one of
the best heifers in Cavender’s fall of 2012 calf crop is a full sister and
this bull plus his two full brothers selling are a credit to the strength of
this mating. Their dam, 803T6, sold through the Ideal Video Customer
Appreciation sale in Houston in March 2013 to Nic Cornelison, Lake
Majestik Farms, Flat Rock, AL for $45,000. This lot ranks in the top 15%
for weaning weight, top 25% for yearling weight, top 20% for TM, top
15% scrotal and top 25% for IMF. He recorded an adjusted 205 of 680
lb. to ratio 103 and went on to ratio 104 at yearling and had an adjusted
rib eye area of 14.48 to ratio 103 and an adjusted IMF of 4.24. His dam
posts excellent ratios with twelve progeny at birth
to ratio 100, eleven at weaning to ratio 106 and nine
at yearling to ratio 103. A proven genetic package
that is sure to be an asset in the pasture for any
program.
