Welcome to our annual bull sale!
It’s a great time to be in the cattle business. The U.S. cow and calf numbers are the smallest since
1949 and the 2013 numbers will be less again. The calves born this spring will have a great value
next fall. It appears as though the future of fed cattle could be pretty strong in the months ahead.
There certainly is tremendous demand for feeder cattle.
Come early and sort through the bulls. This is the stoutest set of bulls to date at our ranch.
These bulls are fed a high roughage 45 mg cal ration developed by our nutritionist Jack Sieben of
J&R Feeds. The bulls will be in ideal breeding condition and will have carcass information available
sale day.
We don’t creep feed but this year we did wean our calves early because of the drought.
We will keep the bulls free of charge and at our risk until mid-April, semen test and give them
their spring shots before delivering them. The bulls sell with our unconditional first breeding
season guarantee.
Join us March 7 for a complimentary lunch before the sale and refreshments after.
