Health:
Cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for
immediate shipment. As conscientious seedstock producers, we
know the health of our cattle is critical for their performance. As
a group, we have developed and agreed upon a consistent herd
health program focused on prevention. All sale cattle have been
vaccinated for BVD, PI3, Respiratory Syncytial viruses, Leptospirosis,
including Leptospira hardjo-bovis, (Pfizer
Animal Health products), all Clostridial diseases (Blackleg) and our
cattle are de-wormed at least twice annually. Our bulls have been
fertility tested to insure they will be satisfactory breeders in their
new herds. We are confident that our sale cattle are healthy, sound
and will be able to perform as required.
Jim Benedict, DVM
All sale cattle are AMF, NHF and CAF by testing or pedigree.

It is my pleasure on behalf of all FAA partners to welcome you to the annual Foundation Angus Alliance bull and female sale.
Every year we strive to offer an excellent group of young registered Angus bulls and females that you can take home to work in your herds,
feeling confident that you have purchased performance and data driven Angus cattle that are sound, fertile and have the best potential to make
you money. As Angus seedstock producers, we want to be your partner in the bulls we produce that you can use as herd bulls, as well as in our
female offering that you can use as replacements or additions to your herd, whether you are a registered or commercial breeder.
Angus cattle continue to dominate all breeds. They are gentle to work with, they tolerate our south Texas climate well, and they consistently
produce a premium beef product for the consumer, as proven by consistent feedlot data, the demand for Angus influenced cattle at local sale
barns and the number of major retailers who advertise “Angus Beef.”
We all know about the challenging times we have been in concerning the weather and our economy. However, we also know that challeng-
ing times can create opportunities. Beef demand continues to rise both at home and abroad, while the U.S. cow inventory is at an all-time low.
We have had good rains in most areas and our economy is improving. As we move forward, replacement cattle demand and prices are expected
to be off the charts – so be ready. Visit our website at
to hear some of the latest comments about the near future for beef
producers from industry leaders.
Our group has remained consistent over the years and our purpose is still to “combine our resources and knowledge for the purpose of rais-
ing functional and genetically superior Angus cattle.”
We hope you can join us on March 2, 2013 to visit, eat a good lunch and look at good Angus cattle. Thank you for your business.
Jim Benedict, DVM
